This is the rig that keeps us flexible — able to move with the fish and fish where it makes the most sense that day.
We run a 2007 Crestliner Fish Hawk 1650 powered by a dependable 60HP Mercury. It’s quick enough to relocate when we need to, but smooth and comfortable for a full day on the water.
Up front, the Minn Kota Ulterra with Spot-Lock and autopilot lets us stay exactly where we want to be — whether that’s holding on a current seam in the Niagara River or working structure out on Lake Erie.
We also carry a separate 6HP trolling motor for controlled trolling when conditions call for it.
On board you’ll find:
• Three Lowrance fishfinder/GPS units to keep us locked in on depth and fish
• Custom Fishing Solutions rod holders to keep setups secure and organized
• A livewell to keep your catch fresh
• A clean, open layout that’s comfortable for 2–3 guests
Safety always comes first.
The boat has been physically inspected by Transport Canada and carries all required safety equipment for a Canadian commercial vessel — plus more. It’s meticulously maintained and ready to go.
We’re also conservative when it comes to lake conditions. If the forecast looks uncomfortable or unsafe, we simply don’t head out. Your comfort and safety matter more than forcing a trip.
It’s not about fancy extras.
It’s about having the right setup, making smart decisions, and keeping the experience enjoyable from start to finish.
